Notice is hereby given that City of Evansville Waterworks District, Vanderburgh County, Indiana, under and pursuant to the Public Service Commission Act, as amended, intends to file with the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (“IURC”) on or about April 29, 2022 a decrease in the schedule of rates and charges to reflect the recent repeal of the utility receipts tax pursuant to HEA 1002. The decrease in these rates and charges is applicable to all customers.  This decrease in rates and charges results in a $0.46 reduction in the average residential monthly bill assuming 5,000 gallons.
