Internships

A unique college internship experience awaits you at the Evansville Water and Sewer Utility (EWSU). As part of the EWSU team, you will work in a professional environment with knowledgeable colleagues in your area of study – from design, engineering, construction and safety to finance and IT. Our goal is to increase your value as you enter the job market.

Internship Program

Summer internships are a 12-week commitment and involve active projects in the office and in the field. Internships provide broad experience for students studying disciplines including accounting, biology, chemistry, civil engineering, construction management, environmental engineering, graphic information systems, and occupational safety and health.

How to Apply

Internship applications are accepted by the City of Evansville Administrative Services Department. Once applications are completed and processed, interviews are conducted by EWSU department and facility managers.

Apply for an EWSU internship. Applications are accepted February through March 2023. Interviews begin in April 2023.
