Customer Reminder: Water Testing and EWSU Services

At Evansville Water and Sewer Utility (EWSU), providing safe, reliable drinking water is one of our top priorities. We regularly monitor and test our drinking water at our facilities to ensure it meets all state and federal water quality standards for our customers.

We also want to remind customers of a few important things:

EWSU does not go door to door offering water testing.
EWSU offers free lead testing upon request. Customers can request a test through our website and collect their own water samples. EWSU employees do not enter homes to conduct these tests.
EWSU does not sell or promote water softeners or other home water treatment systems.
EWSU employees and authorized contractors will identify themselves through their uniforms or by clearly stating they are working on behalf of EWSU.
