EWSU Preps for Potentially Historic Winter Storm

Our EWSU team is ready to tackle the Winter Storm, but if there's a long-term power outage, we might need a little help from you!

With 93 lift stations in Vanderburgh County, a big outage could affect our ability to keep things running smoothly.

If your home is using a generator while your neighborhood doesn't have power, our local lift station might also be down, which could lead to sewer backups if water use isn’t reduced.

To help prevent any problems, please try to limit water use—like laundry, showers, and running the dishwasher—until power is fully restored.
