EWSU to Transition to Paperless Billing Beginning November 2026

EVANSVILLE, IN – Beginning November 2026, Evansville Water and Sewer Utility (EWSU) will transition to paperless billing as the preferred delivery method of monthly utility bills. Customers who want to continue receiving a paper bill may do so at no cost by updating their MyWater EWSU account or by calling EWSU Customer Service at 812-436-7846.

The transition is part of EWSU’s ongoing effort to provide customers with a more convenient billing experience while making responsible use of utility resources.

“Paperless billing provides customers with fast access to their monthly bill and convenient online account management through MyWater EWSU,” said Executive Director Vic Kelson. “At the same time, it helps us reduce printing and mailing costs so we can focus more of our resources on maintaining the water and wastewater infrastructure our community depends on.”

Customers enrolled in paperless billing will receive their monthly bill electronically and continue to have access to their complete billing information through the MyWater EWSU online customer portal and app.

The transition to paperless billing does not change water or sewer service, billing amounts, payment due dates or available payment options.

Customers are encouraged to verify that EWSU has their current email address before the transition through their MyWater EWSU account. While updating their account, EWSU also encourages customers to consider updating their payment method to their bank account or their financial institution’s online Bill Pay service. These secure payment methods help reduce processing costs, allowing more customer dollars to be invested in maintaining reliable water and wastewater service.
