The Evansville City Council sets rates for trash and recycling collection, managed by Republic Services of Evansville. Trash and recycling services are available to single-family residential dwellings and in a multi-family building, such as apartments and condominiums with one to five units. Multi-family units with trash dumpsters may opt out of trash and recycling collection.

Trash and recycling service is included on your monthly Evansville Water and Sewer Utility bill. Utility bills not paid before the stated due date are subject to a late payment fee of 10%.
