Monthly service charges help the Utility provide service to customers and invest in system improvements, such as upgrading aging water mains and supporting infrastructure. All rate increases must be approved by the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC).
Your monthly water bill is based on the size of your meter, the amount of water used each month and where you reside. In addition, EWSU may charge fees for services outside standard water service, such as installation charges, split service fees and fire protection.
EWSU also charges fees for industrial customers such as connection charges, fire hydrant and sprinkler connections, and temporary meters.
